It's exactly the same to our Lazy Load. No loading images and iframe in the menu until hovering to them.
You decorate the menu with categories of colorful images, video, built-in links, etc. Then, a huge amount of bandwidth will be used. The site will automatically ignore these images, links.. if you don’t hover.
That way, we call it: Loading on demand only.
